Some WhatsApp News:

The Facebook owned messaging service has announced that you will now be able to use its service through Google’s Chrome web browser, in the biggest change to the service since it was bought by Facebook last year.

Up until now, WhatsApp has been purely an over-the-top mobile app — one of several that has fundamentally changed the way we use our phones to conduct text-based conversations. Being able to carry conversations fluidly across platforms will help the service rival the likes of Google Hangouts, which is probably the best alternative cross-platform messaging service currently.

What is WhatApp?

WhatsApp Messenger is a cross-platform mobile messaging app which allows you to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS. WhatsApp Messenger is available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, Android and Nokia.
