The watch relies on a connected iPhone to perform many of its default functions (e.g. calling and texting) and will be wirelessly compatible with the iPhone 5 or later models running iOS 8.2 or later, through the use of Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Operates primarily in conjunction with the user’s iPhone for functions such as configuring the watch and syncing data with iPhone apps, but can separately connect to a Wi-Fi network for some data-reliant purposes, including basic communications and audio streaming
