Apple Watch - design and internet

Apple Watch is a line of smartwatches produced by Apple Inc. It incorporates fitness tracking, health-oriented capabilities, and wireless telecommunication, and integrates with iOS and other Apple products and services.

An introduction to the unique technologies and interactions that make a new, more personal experience.

The smartwatch was created by Apple Inc. and announced by Tim Cook on September 9, 2014.

Features incorporate fitness tracking and health-oriented capabilities as well as integration with iOS and other Apple products and services.

Apple announced three “collections”: Sport, Watch and Edition.

Distinguished by different combinations of cases and interchangeable bands.

The watch relies on a connected iPhone to perform many of its default functions (e.g. calling and texting) and will be wirelessly compatible with the iPhone 5 or later models running iOS 8.2 or later, through the use of Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Operates primarily in conjunction with the user’s iPhone for functions such as configuring the watch and syncing data with iPhone apps, but can separately connect to a Wi-Fi network for some data-reliant purposes, including basic communications and audio streaming
